Introduction

Wong Shek-wong (Frank) was born in Fujian, China and spent a childhood with chalks and paint brushes, which were his best playmates and essential tools to express ideas. Frank moved to Hong Kong at the age of six and started to learn sign language. After graduating from college, he have been self-studying painting technique and theoretical knowledge in the field of art and working as a freelance artist. Frank produces his work with media ranging from skillful precise lines of ink to freely rendered and exuberant splashes of watercolour.

As a painter, Frank is attentive to details. His paintings depict the beautiful scenes in the city and moments of our daily life. Recently, Frank has been making art on used envelopes, seeking to re-energize waste materials with his art. Frank has participated in local and overseas art projects, which include “Arts on Letters – Ronnie Wong x Frank Wong Exhibition”, Affordable Art Fair, “Paralym Art World Cup 2018 (Japan)”, “The 2nd International Disabilities Art Contest (South Korea)”, “Our Hong Kong, Our Talents – Play Me, I’m Yours” and “BiG-i Art Project 2015 (Japan)”.
